TRO-VENSITE safety is sterile, non-pyrogenic and atoxic. It enjoys all the advantages of our TRO-VENOCATH 2 IV cannulas with these additional safety features:
- special self-activating safety clip which covers the needle tip immediately after the needle has been removed from the catheter
- The safety mechanism cannot be bypassed but requires no change in application technique
- User protection from needle-stick injuries and inadvertent infection
- Safety clip prevents needle from being reused
- all types of cannula are also available with Rapid-Flash feature
