TRO-VENOCATH NEO is sterile, non-pyrogenic, a-toxic and shows the following characteristics:

• With silicone septum to prevent blood spillage

• Special 3 facet back point bevel of the needle for easy and atraumatic insertion

• Two movable wings for safe fixation to the skin

• PUR catheter with completely embedded radiopaque stripes

• Colour coded wings and hub

• With hydrophobic membrane, for preventing blood spillage from the catheter

• Special self-activating safety clip which covers the needle tip immediately after the needle has been removed from the catheter

• The safety mechanism cannot be bypassed but requires no change in application technique

• User protection from needle-stick injuries and inadvertent infection

• Safety clip prevents needle from being reused
